CarbonX™ CF PEKK-C [Aerospace] Printing Filament

CarbonX™ CF PEKK-C Ultra Polymer is made using Arkema Kepstan® PEKK-C [70/30 copolymer] and 10% Toray® Aerospace-Grade T800 Chopped Carbon Fiber. This compound was originally formulated for our aerospace clients and is now available for all of our customers. Toray T800 Aerospace-grade Carbon Fiber offers excellent strength and stiffness with uncompromising thermal, mechanical, and chemical resistance.


CarbonX™ Carbon Fiber PEKK-C (PolyEtherKetoneKetone) is one of the highest-performance polymers in world. Aerospace-grade performance made possible by using Kepstan® PEKK and Toray® Aerospace-Grade T800 24K Chopped Carbon Fiber. This compound was created for extreme applications where exceptional thermal, mechanical, and chemical resistance properties are required.


A leading material in the PAEK family, PEKK has exceptionally good mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance properties. It is also not only substantially easier to print than PEEK, it’s one of the easiest ultra-polymers to 3D print period.


CarbonX™ PEKK products have a lower rate and degree of crystallinity than PEEK, which aids in their ease of printing. However, once printed and annealed, CF PEKK-C parts exhibit superior performance vs. both PEKK-A and PEEK. Easier to print and superior performance!
